What is in an entry
| Entries with a real translation | 114,551 (68.25%) |
| Entries with only a definition, no translation | 53,300 |
| Entries with a usage example | 19,320 (11.51%) |
| Entries with inflected forms | 94,086 (56.05%) |
| Entries with pronunciation | 57,491 |
| Senses | 301,276 |
| Mean definition length | 37 characters |
| Mean translations per entry | 2.35 |
An entry counted as “definition only” is one where the source wordnet knows the concept but has no word for it in the target language. These are shipped because a definition still helps a reader, and counted separately because calling them translations would be dishonest.
